The Brief: Where is home?

The brief asked us to look at where you felt home was and create a deliverable based on this. I focused my project on the relationship you have with home when it is your place of work, which is the case for a growing number of freelance artists and designers. I looked at the issues faced when working by yourself from home, including loneliness and stress.

The Concept: YIKES

My project aims to help tackle some of these issues by providing a friendly and humorous reminder when you have been working for too long, haven't taken breaks, haven't spoken to a human being all day and so on. It was designed as an add on which would interrupt your routine with an apple-clock-style reminder to stay sane.
